Research project funded by Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft DFG - „Field emission investigations on polycrystalline diamond films, diamond single crystals and diamond-coated microstructures“ (1997-1999); budget ~ 61.000 Euros; Status: Completed.


INTAS project 97-1754 with 5 Russian, 2 other Western European universities/institutes and BUW as coordinator - „Electron emission from wide band gap materials“ (1998-2001); Total (BUW) budget 132.000 (7000) Euros; Status: Completed.


Research project funded by Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft DFG - „Field emission investigations on carbon nanostructures, amorphous carbon and dielectric diamond films “ (1999-2002); budget ~ 72.000 Euros; Status: Completed.


R&D project funded by ICT GmbH - „Field emission application in the area of cold cathodes “ (2000-2003); budget ~ 173.000 Euros; Status: Completed.

BMBF-Verbundprojekt „R&D Beschleuniger (Supraleitende Kavitäten)“, Teilprojekt 05H09PX5: „Charakterisierung und Optimierung von Niob-Oberflächen zur Reduktion der Elektronen-Feldemission“ with 3 other German Universities (2009-2012). BUW budget 130.000 Euros ; Status: Completed.


F&E-Vertrag vom GSI-Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung W-MUELL1012: „Optimierung der Feldemission metallischer Nanodrähte für kalte Elektronenquellen", (2007-2012). BUW budget 150.000 Euros ; Status: Completed.
